Global NCAP, an organization that conducts crash tests to evaluate vehicle safety, has assessed various models on the market. Here are five cars from manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Citroen, and Honda that have been flagged as unsafe based on their crash test results:

    1. Maruti Suzuki Ignis

    • Safety Rating: In Global NCAP testing, the Ignis scored poorly, receiving 1 star for adult safety and zero stars for child safety.
    • Price Range: ₹5.84 lakh to ₹8.06 lakh (ex-showroom).

    2. Mahindra Bolero Neo

    • Safety Rating: This popular SUV received 1 star for both adult and child safety.
    • Price Range: ₹9.95 lakh to ₹12.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

    3. Honda Amaze

    • Safety Rating: The Amaze earned 2 stars for adult safety but a concerning zero stars for child safety.
    • Price Range: ₹7.19 lakh to ₹9.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

    4. Citroen eC3

    • Safety Rating: This electric vehicle from Citroen was rated zero stars for adult safety and 1 star for child safety in the Global NCAP crash tests.
    • Price Range: ₹12.76 lakh (ex-showroom) for the electric variant.

    5. Maruti Suzuki WagonR

    • Safety Rating: The WagonR’s crash test results revealed 1 star for adult safety and zero stars for child safety.
    • Price Range: ₹5.55 lakh to ₹7.21 lakh (ex-showroom).
